LEAKED: BRITNEY "Gimme More" Remixes

beCheck it out... we've got a bunch of leaked remixes for ya coming from the Britney Spears "Gimme More" EP. If you haven't started hearing these in your favorite club yet... you will soon! Especially since ive Records has just announced that the full Britney album (now officially titled Blackout - you know, like her usual Saturday night activity) has been pushed up to a release date on Octor 30! Originally it was going to be November 13, but they claim this is to prevent any "further illegal distribution of songs," presumably by evil bloggers like myself.




Personally, I think the more likely reason is that they're surprised how - following a horrible VMA performance, lame video, and surprising lack of promotion - "Gimme More" is doing well for Britney, currently a #3 Billboard hit and her biggest since "Baby One More Time." In other words, they probably just want to strike while the buzz iron is hot, and avoid any "further immature implosion of career" antics from Ms. Spears.
